CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT

The concert of the winners of the XXI international competition of solo singers "Nikola Cvejić" will be held on October 31, 2019 at 6 pm in the Museum of the National Theater in Belgrade. This event brings together young and talented singers who have won prizes in the competition, giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy superb performances of opera arias and solos.
The concert not only celebrates the artistic excellence of the participants, but also pays tribute to Nikola Cvejić, whose name this competition bears. The event is expected to attract music lovers and supporters of young talent, highlighting the importance of this prestigious competition.

 

On the occasion of the jubilee 20th competition of the solo singer "Nikola Cvejić", the publication "International competition of the solo singer "Nikola Cvejić" in Ruma", authored by Milorad Stokin, was prepared. This publication brings an essay on the life and work of Nikola Cvejić, a general characterization of the competition and its propositions, the history of the "Nikola and Marica Cvejić" Fund, as well as the history of all competitions so far, illustrated with plenty of selected photographs. A special curiosity of this publication is the tables with the names of all awarded students, as well as laureates and winners of special awards, as well as members of the jury and members of the Organizational and Honorary Committees. The publication was prepared under the auspices of the Municipality of Ruma and the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities-National Communities, with the support of the Basic Music School "Teodor Toša Andrejević" in Ruma and the "Nikola and Marica Cvejić" Association. The first promotion will be held as part of the ceremonial closing of the 20th competition, on November 25 of the current year in Ruma. brings together young and talented singers who have won awards at the competition, giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy superb performances of opera arias and solo songs.
